Birds “Ready to Pour” Custard 750g

Mix custard powder, sugar and 50 ml milk together (see table below for quantity of custard powder). Bring 450 ml milk to the boil in a saucepan. Pour custard mix into boiling milk, stir well. Bring to the boil, stirring continuously. Serve hot or cold. Use more or less sugar according to taste. Place custard powder, sugar and 50 ml milk into 1 Litre microwavable jug (see table below for quantity of custard powder). Mix together. Add remainder of milk and stir well. Microwave on high (100%) for 5 mins (650 – 700 W)/7.5 mins (500 W) or until mixture boils, stirring at 2 minute intervals. Consistency – custard powder – sugar – milk: Pouring – 30ml (2 level tbs) – 45ml – 500ml. Medium – 45ml (3 level tbs) – 45ml – 500ml. Thick – 60ml (4 level tbs) – 45ml – 500ml.
